  1. Magnetic therapy is safe. And the reason is because it hasn't been scientifically proven to do anything. Yes yes i know electrical powers~
  2. It should be fine. magnetic therapy should have no negative effects. in fact it will most likely be more positive stimulation for the heart. but I'm not a doctor.
  3. It does depend on the type of surgery. If it is for rhythm abnormalities then I would certainly suggest asking a phamacist first. The British heart foundation has a good website, that my have some suggestions.
  4. Yes it's safe... Will it help?? No... Seek out a true medical professional
  5. I am afraid they are absolutely useless.
  6. Safe, yes. Also completely and utterly useless. Magnets have no effect on the body.
  7. Magnetic therapies have rarely been shown to be effective. Most of the time, they help with problems you can't measure scientifically: pain, mood, energy level, etc.. Some people swear by them, and if they help, then they're usually safe. However, if your heart surgery included the implantation of a pacemaker or defibrillator, I would avoid any magnetic devices, as magnets can casue such things to malfunction.
  8. avoid using strong magnets on the head & heart-and take the advice of a trained practitioner in your case
