  1. No. They have very proven medicine for thyroid problems. Both hypo and hyper thyroid conditions. Magnetic therapy is sometimes used for depression when highly resistant to more traditional therapy--but, I'm not sure this is the kind of magnetic therapy you are referring to since it is done at university hospitals.
  2. never heard that one, heard of the copper bracelets, but that didn't help. Have been dealing with low thyroid for almost 18 yrs. Little but different meds have helped, and I must say even there, they are not a cure. I think help will come when they transplant thyroids or give us stem cells to grow new ones.

  4. No, doesn't work. If you have thyroid dysfunction you need appropriate conventional therapy. Both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism are a risk to health if left untreated.
  5. Not sure about magnetic therapy, but homeopathic remedies can help in certain situations. Also, not sure if you have an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) or an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), but here's some info. HYPERTHYROIDISM: If left untreated, hyperthyroidism can be a significant threat to health and may cause serious complications. Mild hyperthyroidism often responds well to complementary medicine and a holistic approach (including diet) and may help to calm down the thyroid and remove the need for radioactive iodine treatment or surgery. Tips for Hyperthyroidism Relief: Consume Plenty of: * Seafood, dark green leafy vegetables, deep yellow or orange fruits and vegetables, fortified cereals and low-fat dairy products for iodine and vitamin A Cut Down On and Avoid: * Alcohol and caffeine * Smoking * High-dose kelp supplements HYPOTHYROIDISM: Conventional treatment usually involves taking a synthetic or animal derived thyroid hormone medication on a daily basis. Levothyroxine is the most common conventional medication used to treat hypothyroidism and treatment is life-long. There are other treatment options that can also be explored and may well be more suited to you. These include alternative and natural hypothyroidism remedies and are especially for those who want to avoid the side effects of prescription drugs. Tips for Hyporthyroidism Relief: Consume Plenty of: * Seafood, dark green leafy vegetables, deep yellow or orange fruits and vegetables, fortified cereals and low-fat dairy products for iodine and vitamin A. Cut Down On and Avoid: * Alcohol and caffeine. * Cruciferous vegetables (cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, brussels sprouts, kale) as these contain a natural thyroid blocker. * Smoking. * High-dose kelp supplements.
  6. No, magnetic fields are not going to cure you and neither is homeopathic treatment either. Go and see your doctor and follow his/her advice
