Magnetic Therapy?

Has anyone used magnetic therapy on their horse? I was thinking about it for my TB's hock. Did it work for you? Did you not like it, did you like it? Thanks, I did not know about the different polarities. I will research that.

1. I've had magnetic accuscope therapy done on my horse several times for various reasons and had it done to myself and I love it. It does seem to improve blood flow to the area, reduce swelling very quickly and cause edema to disperse.
2. I have looked into it for horses and people - if you are going to try it make sure you check with your vet - not a sales rep. There are different strenths and pollarities that effect what it does to the tissues of the body and using the wrong one will either not do anything or cause damage. I don't know if the stuff works - just be careful and do some research.
