Will wearing a magnetic bracelet do anything to my electric guitar while playing it?
I recently bought a magnet bracelet to help arthritis in my right wrist. I'm not sure if it's safe to play my guitar or not.

- I don't think so , but try it and see!!!!!!!
- well, im not sure, because the pickups work by picking up vibrations from the magnetic fields they produce, so if you put a magnet close enough, i would assume the outcome would not be to your liking
- I think you'd have to get it pretty close to a pickup to cause any damage, but I can tell you for sure, it's doing nothing for your arthritis. Magnetic Therapy is a hoax. Have you ever heard of an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)" That's the strongest magnetic field a person can be exposed to and it has yet to cure ANYONE of ANYTHING. Get rid of the bracelet unless you just think it's cool. Kabum (guitarist with RA)
- You may get feedback from your amp but plug it in and try playing a few songs with the bracelet on.
- If it doesnt bother you that much, maybe you should take it off. But i dont kno
